Mrs. Frank Sage of Winterset passed from this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. B. Harden, near Corning, Jan. 27th, at the age of 70 years, 4 months and 27 days. Funeral services were held Jan. 29th at 3 p.m. in the Methodist Episcopal church in Corning, conducted by Rev. E. S. Menoher and the body was laid to rest in Walnut Grove cemetery.

Mrs. Sage, formerly Miss Anna M. Reynolds, daughter of Richard S. and Julia Reynolds was born Aug. 30, 1854 in Warrenville, Ill., where she grew to womanhood and was married to Frank Sage, Feb. 14, 1875. Later Mr. and Mrs. Sage located in Adams county, Iowa, where they remained until March 1, 1901, when they moved to Winterset, and from there they went to Lorimor, where they spent three years, returning to Winterset in 1914, which has since been the family home.

Mrs. Sage was a patient lady, looking to the comfort and happiness of others and left a large circle of friends, who with her loved ones, mourn her loss.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Sage leaves the following children: Mrs. Edith Gillet of Afton; Mrs. Nina Rogers of Morgan, Minn.; Mrs. Minnie Robinson of Winterset; Mrs. Ella Harden of Corning; Ray of Indianola and Harry of Winterset; also two sisters, Mrs. Ella M.
