On Tuesday at the M. E. church, occurred the funeral of Mrs. Mary Davis, who died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Al Simons. The services were conducted by Rev. Wilkins and Rev. Sam Howe. Those from a distance in attendance were Mrs. Brown Reed, of St. Charles, and Mrs. Dr. Flora Smith, a sister of Mrs. Davis, of Hutchison, Kansas.

Mrs. Mary Davis, daughter of Al Simmons, died May 18th at the home of her father. Funeral services were held on the afternoon of the 19th in the M.E. church conducted by Rev. C. C. Wilkins and Rev. S. Howe, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Ebenezer cemetery.
