MRS. ARMSTRONG DEAD

Mrs. George Armstrong died Jan. 26, 1893, at her home in Scott township, Madison county, Iowa, aged 43 years. She leaves nine children.

The funeral was held at the Christian church at East Peru on Tuesday forenoon conducted by Rev. L. E. Follansbee of Winterset. A large number of friends in deep sympathy with the sorrowing family assembled and followed the remains to the cemetery. Her illness lasted but six days, when she succumbed to that dreaded disease, pneumonia.

Coordinator's note: This was originally thought to be Etta J. Armstrong (nee Wood) but that Mrs. George Armstrong died in 1916 in Des Moines. We have been unable to identify who this person is.
