MYRTLE EDITH MOORE DIES AT AGE OF 74

Miss Myrtle Edith Moore, of Winterset, died at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines, Sunday, July 24th at the age of 74 years. Miss Moore, the daughter of James and Martha Moore, was born in Madison county, December 12, 1874.

She lived near Peru most of her life, but for the last few years had resided in Winterset. Three brothers and three sisters have preceded her in death. She is survived by one brother, Herbert Lee Moore of Winterset.

It is stated that Miss Moore devoted her life to caring for her parents in their later years, as the raising of her nephew, Earl Hiskey. She also cared for her brother as long as her health would permit.

The Rev. I. E. Linkletter conducted her funeral services Tuesday afternoon at the Peru church and burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
