MRS. HALLIE DAVIS DIED HERE TUESDAY

Death Occurs at Home of Daughter, Mrs. George W. Otto

Mrs. Hallie M. Davis, who had been making her home here recently with her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George Otto, died at their home this Tuesday, Oct. 11. She had spent about two years here.

Mrs. Davis was a native of Muncie, Ind., where she was born Nov. 13, 1877. She was 82 years of age at her death.

She was married in 1903 at Fredonia, Kansas, to Elmo Davis, who preceded her in death in 1947.

She leaves two sons, Miles D. Davis of Waterloo and George W. Davis of Fredonia, the daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Otto of Winterset; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Jack Mainey of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Jessie Lewis of Kansas City, Mo.; and a brother, Rollo Marshall of Fredonia.

Funeral services will be held this Friday from the Dunham Funeral home in Fredonia, with burial in the Fredonia cemetery.
