Mrs. Minnie Harthimmer
Minnie Albert, daughter of John H. and Ursula Albert, was born near Jefferson, Greene County, Iowa, July 6, 1889 and passed away at her home in Scott township in Madison county in the early morning of April 1, 1932. She lost her mother at the early age of eleven and as the sisters and brothers left the old home to establish homes of their own, she became the housekeeper for her father and one brother.
After the death of her father she was married to M. Harthimmer December 5, 1915 and to this union were born two sons, John who died in infancy and Lloyd a young lad at home.
During her young girlhood at a small school house in her home neighborhood, she made her confession of faith in Jesus Christ as her Savior. A faith in which she trusted during her life.
Mrs. Harthimmer was a great lover of her home, her desire being to make a happy home. She was a devoted wife and loving mother.
In the spring of 1920 Mr. and Mrs. Harthimmer moved to a farm in Scott township in Madison county at which place she has lived until her death that followed a brief illness.
She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband and young son, Lloyd. Two sisters, Mrs. Maude Clopton of Ainsworth, Nebraska and Dora Smith of Jefferson; four brothers, Frank Albert of Jefferson, Charles Albert of Murray, David Albert of Des Moines; Isaac Albert of California; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Mrs. M. Harthimmer of Scott township, died at her home, early Friday morning, April first, after a short illness with pneumonia. The Harthimmers have been residents of this county, since 1920, when they moved here from Jefferson.
The deceased was the former Minnie Albert, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Albert of Jefferson. She was born in Greene county, July 6, 1889, or 43 years ago. Her mother died when she was eleven years of age, and she was housekeeper for her father.
After his death she was married to Mr. Harthimmer, December 5, 1915. They were the parents of two sons, John, who died in infancy, and Lloyd, a boy at home.
In addition to her husband and son, she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Maude Clopton of Ainsworth, Nebraska and Dora Smith of Jefferson, four brothers, Frank Albert of Jefferson, Charles of Murray, David of Des Moines, and Isaac of California.
The Rev. H. L. Olmstead, pastor of the Church of Christ conducted brief services here, Sunday morning at 8:30 o’clock, and the body was taken to Jefferson where services were held that afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of her sister, Mrs. Smith. Burial was made in the Jefferson cemetery.
