MRS. NELL COVERDALE DIED HERE TUESDAY

Resident of Winterset for Last Year Was 62 Years of Age

Mrs. Nell Coverdale, a resident of Winterset for the last year, died here Tuesday, May 10 at the home of Bertha Jones on South Second street. She was 62 years of age.

Mrs. Coverdale was a native of Ringgold county, where she was born Aug. 21, 1886. She was the daughter of Oliver and Josephine Miller. She was married Feb. 21, 1905, to Harry O. Eivins. They lived for many years near Leon. Mr. Eivins died in 1919.

In later years she married George Coverdale, who lived but a short time. She had lived in Creston before coming to Winterset.

Surviving are two sons, Hugh Eivins of South Gate, Calif., and Hoyle Eivins of Corning; and two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Plunkett of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Mrs. Kathryn Bond of Winterset.

Funeral services will be held Thrusday at 11 a.m. from the Richards funeral home in charge of the Rev. G. L. Hufstader, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial was made near Leon.
