Winterset, IowaDR. FANNIE PARKS DIES IN CALIFORNIA
Funeral Services Will Be Held in Iowa City On Thursday
Dr. Fannie S. Parks, an osteopathic physician in Winterset for many years, died recently in California, according to word reaching here Monday. She was 82 years of age.
Doctor Parks had been living in Los Angeles with her niece, Ruth Bridenstine. She had moved there from Winterset six years ago, after practicing her profession in this community for many years.
In addition to the niece, Miss Bridenstine, she leaves three nephews, Chief Petty Officer Reese Bridenstine, of the U.S. navy, who is stationed in Virginia, John Bridenstine of near Cedar Rapids and Dr. Harvey Bridenstine of Detroit, Mich.
The body is being returned to Iowa City, where funeral services are scheduled to be held this Thursday at 10 a.m. from the Outhout funeral home. Burial is to be made at Tiffin.
