MRS. HUGH MUNSON DIES IN ARKANSAS

Former Truro Resident Had Been Living at Home of Son

Mrs. Hugh H. Munson, former Truro resident, died Monday, Jan. 3rd at the home of her son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Munson, in Jacksonville, Ark., at the age of 69 years. Mrs. Munson, the former Rettie Maud Lusk, was a daughter of David and Eliza Worthing Lusk. She was born in Guernsey county, Ohio, Aug. 17, 1879, and came to Madison county with her mother and grandparents in 1880. They settled on a farm near Truro.

Her marriage to Mr. Munson was solemnized Feb. 19, 1899, and they located on a farm near Truro, but later moved to town and resided there many years. Mr. Munson died in 1941, but she condinued to reside in their home until last fall, when her health failed, and she was taken to Arkansas.

In addition to the son, Lyle, she leaves another son, James Price Munson of Little Rock, Ark., and three grandchildren.

She was an active member of the Truro Christian church, and served as superintendent of the Sunday School.

(Burial was in the Worthing cemetery)
