Thursday, November 23, 1933WILLIAM SCHOFIELD DIES
William Schofield, the son of John and Huldy Schofield, was born February 2nd, 1860 near Utica, New York and died at his home near Winterset Monday, November 20th.
The deceased moved with his parents from New York to Illinois when a boy and later to Nebraska. From there they moved to Iowa in the year of 1880. On January 5th he was married to Laura May Hall of Lenox, Iowa. They were the parents of one daughter, Byrde. They moved to Winterset 12 years ago. Previous to that time they lived in Adams and Union counties.
Mr.Schofield is survived by his wife and daughter, two brothers, George of Everett, Washington and Frank of Kent, Iowa.
Funeral services were held at the Ramsey-Richards Funeral home at 11 o'clock Thursday morning. Rev. L. H. Lanning, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church had charge of the services.
