Death of Leanora Mae Holmes

Leanora Mae Holmes, resident of Truro, died at the hospital at Clarinda, September 4th at the age of 70 years. Her life with the exception of the last few years was spent at or near Truro.

Her mother died when she was a small child and her father died in 1907. One sister, Mrs. Jennie Douglas preceded her in death. The following sisters and brothers survive her; Mrs. Meda Caskey of North Manchester, Indiana; D. V. Holmes of Long Beach, California; W. H. Holmes, Mrs. Beryle Patterson and Earl Holmes, all of Truro; and Mrs. J. L. Chapman of Derby.
