VINCENT LONGSHORE DIED LAST THURSDAY

Funeral Services Held on Sunday From Barney Church

Vincent L. Longshore, a long-time resident of the Lorimor and Barney communities, died at Barney last Thursday, Jan. 18th after a brief illness.

Mr. Longshore was born in Madison county, July 14, 1872, and was 78 years of age at the time of his death. He was married in 1912 to Susan Reed. They were the parents of three daughters, two of them preceding the father in death.

He lived in and near Lorimor for a number of years, and spent 27 years in Greeley, Colorado.

He leaves his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Bette Warren, and two granddaughters.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Barney church, in charge of the Rev. Mr. Wilkins. Burial was made in the Barney cemetery.
