Lorene Moore Death at 41

Funeral services were conducted Monday, March 8 at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winterset for Lorene Marie Moore who died Thursday March 4, 1976 at Memorial Hospital in Winterset. She was 41 years of age.

A resident of rural Peru, Mrs. Moore was born May 25, 1934 in Winterset, the daughter of Albert Kordick and Elizabeth Bindel Kordick. She was married to James W. Moore on September 25, 1959 at St. Joseph's in Winterset.

A lifetime resident of Madison county, Mrs. Moore was a secretary at Equitable Life Insurance Company of Iowa from 1952 to 1963. She was employed as a bookkeeper at North Central Public Service from December 1970 until her death. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Altar and Rosary Society in Winterset.

Survivors include her husband, James W. Moore, her father, Albert Kordick and a daughter, Sheryl Marie of Winterset. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her mother and an infant daughter.

Also surviving are four brothers, Wayne Kordick of Corning, Earl Kordick of St. Louis, Missouri; Glenn Kordick of Winterset; an Harold Zbierske of St. Joseph, Missouri; and one sister, Mrs. W. Dean Moore of Winterset.

Presiding at Monday's service for Mrs. Moore was Msgr. William J. McMahon. A rosary was said at 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Collins Funeral Home. Burial was made at the Winterset Cemetery.
