Death of Nelson Richmond

Nelson Richmond passed away last night at the home of his mother, Mrs. Nellie Richmond, after an illness of about twelve weeks.

The death of this young man is especially sad. He entered service May 27, 1918 and was ship cook at Puget Sound, Washington. He had ten months of service in the navy and he came home March 31, 1919, began working for George Thomas, several weeks later. He took sick with dropsy May 27th and has gradually grown weaker.

The funeral services will be tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at Oak Grove. Rev. S. H. Williams will conduct the services assisted by Rev. W. J. Stewart.
