William Albert Moore, son of Charles and Margaret Moore, departed this life on October 15, 1930 at the age of thirty years. He grew to manhood near the Ozark mountains in Missouri and in the year 1924 came to Madison county.
In April 1927, he was united in marriage to Alta Bridges and to this union were born two children, Coleen, age 3 and Cecil, age 1. Mr. Moore and his family had been residing on the E. E. McCall farm northeast of Winterset, under the employ of S. Koehler.
Those who mourn his early departure are a wife and two children, a father, one brother and two sisters. Services were conducted from Tidrick's funeral home, Saturday, October 18, at 10:30 o'clock, the Rev. H. L. Olmstead, pastor of the Church of Christ officiating. Interment was made in the Winterset cemetery.
Mr. Moore had not been in poor health and his death came suddenly. He had a hemorrhage of one of the large arteries and died before a physician could be summoned. Mrs. Moore was not able to get away with the car because of the mud and ran a mile to the Koehler home to summon help.
