Billy Dean Pace

Billy Dean, infant son of Ruth and Byron Pace of Winterset, was born May 5, 1928. Since three months of age he had never been well and after months of sickness, he was taken to the Children's hospital at Iowa City last June. The parents remained with him most of the time, but their care and the skill of the doctors and nurses were of no avail and he passed away on Monday September 9, 1929 at the age of 16 months and 4 days.

Billy Dean was a sweet lovable baby and even in his months of suffering, often had a cheery smile. He was made for happiness, and when he could be happy here no longer, God took him to His home, to give him the perfect development and happiness that earth can never give.

He leaves his parents, two brothers, Lawrence and Kenneth; three sisters, Mildred, Loraine and Pauline. One brother and one sister died in infancy. Besides these are his grandparents and many other relatives.
