FRANK WILLIAMS BURIED AT MADRID

Funeral services were held last Wednesday at Madrid for Frank Williams, former Winterset business man, whose death had occurred June 10 in Des Moines. The Rev. Charles Miller, pastor of College Avenue Christian church in Des Moines, officiated at the service. Burial was made at Madrid.

Mr. Williams was 65 years of age at his death. He had undergone surgery May 31 and again on June 7. He appeared to be convalescing, but died June 10, with death attributed to a heart attack.

A son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Williams, pioneer residents of the Madrid community, he was born and reared there. He was married to Alma Kinsey, and they celebrated their forty-fifth wedding anniversary on May 28.

Mr. Williams operated a meat market and grocery store in Winterset from 1931 to 1934. Since then his home had been in Des Moines, where he was a member of the College Avenue Christian church and the Acanthus Masonic lodge.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Yvonne Cessan of Dallas, Tex., and Mrs. Margaret Roach of Crawford township; a son, William Williams of Sunnyvale, Calif., seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
