Winterset, IowaMINNIE WELHELM DIES AT 81 YEARS
Widow of Late Winterset Druggist Had Been In failing Health
Mrs. Minnie M. Wilhelm, a life-long resident of Madison county died Thursday, May 2 at Memorial hospital in Winterset, after an extended period of failing health. She was 81 years of age.
Mrs. Wilhelm was born near Winterset April 17, 1876, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Allgeyer. She was married in 1902 to Thomas Wilhelm, who was engaged in the drug business in Winterset. They were parents of one daughter, Helen. The husband and father died in 1915.
Surviving are the daughter, now Mrs. Lyle Musmaker of Greenfield; a granddaughter; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Monahan of Winterset; and a brother, Loyde Allgeyer of Santa Monica, Calif.
Rosary services were held last Friday from the Richards Funeral home for Mrs. Wilhelm and the requiem funeral Mass was held Saturday from St. Joseph’s Catholic church here, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. John Higgins. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
