CYRUS H. WHEELER OF MACKSBURG DIES

Long-Time Resident Passes July 11 at Age of 75 Years

Cyrus H. Wheeler, a long-time resident of the Macksburg vicinity died Sunday, July 11th at the age of 75 years.

Mr. Wheeler was born near Earlham on Oct. 23, 1872, the son of George and Mary Jane Wheeler. He was married at Creston Aug. 23, 1894, to Martha Mobley. They were the parents of seven children. Mrs. Mobley and one son preceded him in death.

Surviving are the six children, Weaver Wheeler of Iowa Falls, Mrs. Mabel Brooks of Osceola, Collus Wheeler of Des Moines, Lee and Elga Wheeler of Lorimor, and Elva Wheeler of Macksburg.

Funeral services were held last Wednesday from the Macksburg Methodist church, in charge of the Rev. W. A. Caldwell and the Rev. C. A. Calkins. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery there.
