Macksburg Special, February 20 - J. Q. Brown, former Macksburg resident, died at his home in Creston, Friday, February 17th. He made his home in Creston for the past 17 years, moving there from Macksburg.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Presbyterian church with Rev. Fred E. Robb officiating. Burial was in the Prairie Lawn cemetery at Spaulding.
He leaves his wife and two children, Mrs. E. D. Webb of Coquille, Oregon and Iri Brown of Alhambra, California.
