MRS. DEE DEBOK OF WINTERSET DIES

Rev. Arthur Week conducts Funeral Services Here Sunday

Mrs. Dee DeBok, life-long resident of Madison county, died Friday, June 7, at her home in Monroe township, after a brief illness. She was 70 years of age.

Mrs. DeBok was the former Edna Rhodes, daughter of Samuel and Lydia Read Rhodes. She was born April 1, 1887, at the home of her parents southwest of Winterset. On Dec. 25, 1911, she was married to Dee DeBok . they were parents of two daughters, Zylphia Pearl and Lois Mae, survive.

She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Susan Sage of Winterset and Mrs. Alberta Betterton of Knoxville; and four brothers, Fred, Rose and Earl Rhodes of Winterset, and Nelson Rhodes of Van Wert.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Arthur Weed. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
