MRS. CHARLES HUSTED DIED HERE MONDAY

Death Occurs at Home of Her Daughter in Winterset

Mrs. Charles Husted, a resident of Madison county most of her life, died Monday, Nov. 1, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Foreman of Winterset. Her death followed a long illness. She was 64 years of age.

Mrs. Husted was the former Martha A. Putnam, and was born in Hardin county on Jan. 3, 1884, the daughter of George and Helen Putnam. In early life she moved with her parents to Madison county.

She was married to Charles Husted Jan. 29, 1907. They were the parents of two daughters, Mrs. Foreman and Mrs. Hazel Oglesbee, both of Winterset. Mr. Husted died last January.

In addition to the two daughters, she leaves a brother, Roy Putnam of Polson, Mont., and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday from the Richards Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Arthur Weed of Tingley. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
