MRS. AVIS Z. HILD DIED LAST FRIDAY

Funeral Services Held on Tuesday at Anderson's Funeral Home

Mrs. Avis Z. Hild, long-time resident of this community, died at her home in Winterset last Friday, March 19, after two years of failing health. She was 58 years of age.

Mrs. Hild is survived by her mother, Mrs. Effie Martin; four children, Mrs. Mary Piatt of Winterset, Mrs. Elmer Ham and John Crandall of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Earl Powell of Casey; a brother, Neven Martin, and a sister, Mrs. May Cannine, both of California. She also leaves 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held here Tuesday from the Anderson home for funerals, in charge of the Rev. Howard Strong, pastor of the Winterset Presbyterian church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
