William Berry, long-time resident of Lorimor, died Sunday, Dec. 10, at the home of his daughter in Red Oak.
Mr. Berry was engaged in the plumbing business in Lorimor for many years. He is survived by his wife; three daughters; and two sons.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Red Oak, with burial made in the cemetery there.

William T. Berry, 82, father of Mrs. Grace Yates and Mrs. Cleo May Berg of Red Oak, died Saturday at the Rhea Yates home after illness of one week. Death was caused by a heart ailment.
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Tuesday from the Senergren funeral home with Dr. Rienard Chambers, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, in charge. Pall bearers were Frank Braden, Arthur Cornelison, Guy Cornelison, Gordon Andrews, Wilbur Andrews and Frank Mellott. Music was by Banner Shay, Jr., soloist, and Miss Mabelle Reimers, accompanist. Members of the floral committee were Mrs. Lansing Heuer and Marilyn Andrews. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery.
William Tinsley Berry, son of John Henry and Martha Jane Berry, was born July 15, 1868, in Madison county, Iowa. He lived in St. Charles and Lorimor before coming to Red Oak in August of this year. He was a sheet metal worker by occupation and was a member of the Methodist church.
Mr. Berry was married in July, 1938, at King City, Mo., to Amanda Brandt, who survives and is living in Clarinda. Other survivors include a brother, Lewis I. Berry of Lorimor, five daughters, two sons, 29 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The children are Mrs. Maude A. Jones, Nebo, Mo.; Mrs. Maggie Alice Miller, Omaha; Mrs. Grace Yates and Mrs. Cleo May Berg, both of Red Oak; Ivan Dean Berry, Los Alamos, N. M.; Mrs. Veda L. Nocar, Los Angeles, Cal., and Lyle Berry, Denver, Colo. One son and one daughter preceded their father in death.
