Lou Smith of Adair county died at the Dexter clinic April 17, one day after having suffered a stroke. He was 77 years of age.
Mr. Smith is survived by two sons, Albert Smith of Winterset and Norral Smith of Orient; four daughters, Velma Cramer of Dexter, Jane Cass of Bridgewater, Della Cass of Casey and Hazel Nelson of Mitchellville; and a brother Harry Smith of Greenfield.
Funeral services were held at Greenfield Saturday, with burial made in the cemetery there.
