Wednesday, June 13, 1956WESLEY L. BEEDLE DIES IN MINNESOTA
Wesley L. Beedle, former resident of Madison county, died Sunday, May 27 at Minneapolis, Minn., after a lingering illness. He was 87 years of age.
Mr. Beedle was born March 25, 1869 near Winterset the son of Abraham and Rachel Beedle. He was married Sept. 7, 1902 to Mabel Lund of Albert Lea, Minn.
He was a soldier in the U. S. army during the Spanish American war serving in the Philippines Islands.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Helen Connelly of Minneapolis; a grandson, Peter Connelly of Northfield; a sister, Mrs. George Bennett of DeSoto; and two brothers, John and Roy Beedle, both of Winterset.
Funeral services were held May 29 in Minneapolis, with burial there.
