Killed in Auto Accident

Mrs. J. J. Crossley, Former Winterset Lady Killed At Portland. No Details Available.

Mrs. James J. Crossley of Portland, Oregon, died early Sunday morning as the result of an auto accident which occurred on the day previous to her death. Particulars other than the above which came by telegram from Mr. Crossley Sunday, are not available.

Mrs. Crossley, whose maiden name was Cherry Hyde was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Hyde and a granddaughter of Dr. S. B. Cherry, one of the pioneer physicians of Winterset.

Besides her husband and five daughters, remaining members of her family are her mother and sister, Lenore of Portland and one brother who resides in Nebraska.
