Death of Della Townsend

Mrs. Della Townsend, a former Winterset and Madison county resident died Friday, November 18, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Nettie Leonard in Lynnwood, California. Mrs. Townsend was 74 years of age. Another sister, Mrs. Katherine Stone of Winterset, had gone to California to spend the winter with her sisters, Mrs. Leonard and Mrs. Townsend and reached there before Mrs. Townsend died.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, November 21st at the Lynnwood Baptist Church at 2 o'clock. The body was interred at Forest Lawn Memorial park.

The deceased leaves three sisters, Mrs. Leonard, Mrs. Steffe and Mrs. Wasson of Winterset.
