Funeral services for Mrs. John Garlinger were held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the Tidrick funeral home, conducted by Rev. A. P. Keast. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
Mary E. Allen, daughter of Isaac A. and Mary E. Allen was born February 29, 1851 in Warren county on a farm near Lynn Grove. She died October 10, 1932 at Kansas City, Missouri.
August 4th, 1886 she was united in marriage to John T. Garlinger who died July 7, 1921.
She is survived by two daughters; Mrs. S. W. Simpson of Kansas City and Maude A. Wood of Reading, Kansas; a son, Ernest C. Garlinger of Emporia Kansas; a stepdaughter, Ella May Bishop of Des Moines; and a brother, Elmer Allen of Winterset.
