Death of Mrs. P. M. Lippy

Funeral services for Mrs. P. M. Lippy were held at 2 o'clock at the Tidrick funeral home, Tuesday afternoon. The services were conducted by Reverend W. C. Porter of the United Presbyterian church. Mrs. Lippy has been in poor health the past three years. She was taken seriously ill a month ago, passing away March 20, 1932.

Mrs. Lippy, formerly Emma Virginia Esterline was born at Quakers town, Frederick county, Maryland, November 4, 1860. Her girlhood was spent there. She was married to Peter Milton Lippy on June 2nd, 1881. They came to Kansas in 1899 and to Iowa in 1909.

To this union was born two children, Nettie, who was married to George Stine, and passed away July 6, 1929, and Howard Lippy of Des Moines. She leaves besides her husband, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A granddaughter, Shirley Joan Stine, whose parents are dead, makes her home with the Lippys.
