.......Oscar Hoyt’s Car, and Kills Him.

A dispatch from Earlham in this morning’s Des Moines Register tells of the death of Oscar Hoyt, when an unknown driver crashed into Hoyt’s car late last night. Police are searching for the driver who sped away without investigating the accident. Mr. Hoyt, with a companion, Merl Nesbitt, were driving home from Earlham, the accident occurring about a mile east of Earlham.

Mr. Nesbitt was slightly injured.

The coroner at Adel is holding an inquest today.
