Mrs. Alice Trester Gaskill was born in Madison county, Iowa, April 10, 1859 and passed from this life June 21, 1933 at the age of 74 years, 2 months and 11 days.
She was married to William Cunningham September 10, 1879 and to this union two children were born, Charles and Edith.
Mr. Cunningham preceded her in death fifteen years ago and Edith preceded her mother twelve years ago. She was married to Frank M. Gaskill January 1, 1920. She was a member of the Methodist church in Des Moines for many years and was superintendent of its Sunday school.
She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, her son Charles, one sister, Mrs. Samantha Dunn of Winterset; one grandson, Kenneth Duncan and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Rev. R. L. L. Barnstable, pastor of the Methodist church in Des Moines conducted her funeral services.
