MRS. FRANK ZELLAR DIES

Winterset friends received word Monday of the death of Mrs. Frank Zellar Monday morning, September 18th in an Iowa City hospital. Mrs. Zellar was operated upon for a ruptured appendix last Thursday and her condition had since been critical.

Mrs. Zellar was 45 years of age. She and her husband lived for nineteen years on a farm in Lincoln township, and only three years ago returned to Johnson county to make their home. Mrs. Zellar, who was the former Miss Edna Myers was raised in that county.

She leaves her husband and their four children, Iowa, Esther, Frank and Fred. She also leaves two sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services are being held at North Liberty this afternoon and a number of former neighbors are driving down for them: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brownell, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Greer, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Bertholf, Mr. and Mrs. Lon Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Emory Callison and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Macumber.
