CHARLES HIRCOCK DIED ON SUNDAY

Native of Michigan Lived Most of Life in This County

Charles E. Hircock, a resident of Madison county for nearly all of his life, died Sunday, Nov. 26, at his home west of Winterset. He was 84 years of age.

Mr. Hircock was born in Monroe county, Michigan, on July 20, 1866. He was a son of Jacob and Louise Hircock. As a small boy he came with his parents to Madison county, and spent the remainder of his life here.

He was married Feb. 28, 1895, to Alma A. Orrison. They were the parents of one son, Everett A. Hircock of Winterset.

In addition to his wife and son, he is survived by four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Clement D. Loehr, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
