DEATH OF BERT LA PELLA

Word was received Monday evening of the death of Bert La Pella at his home in Des Moines. The funeral services were held Thursday morning at the Carl White funeral home in Des Moines with burial in the Earlham cemetery.

Mr. La Pella was a brother of Mrs. Clarence DeVault and had lived near and in Earlham for many years prior to their moving to Indianola and recently to Des Moines.

He leaves his wife, two sons, George and Dwight, one daughter, Julia; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Roseman of California and Mrs. Mary DeVault of Earlham.

Mr. Bert La Pella Died Monday in Des Moines

Mr. Elbertio E. La Pella, former Earlham resident, passed away Monday evening at his home in Des Moines. Death followed a long illness with a complication of heart trouble and other ailments.

Mrs. Clarence DeVault, a sister, and other relatives from Earlham were in attendance at the funeral services held Thursday morning at the Carl White funeral home in Des Moines. Interment was in Earlham cemetery.
