PETTIT FUNERAL SERVICE AT HEBRON

Ed Pettit, a resident of the Macksburg community for 21 years, died Sunday, Feb. 11, at Madison county Memorial hospital in Winterset. He was 58 years of age.

Mr. Pettit had lived for many years at Hebron, before moving to Macksburg.

Surviving are seven children: Mrs. Lucille, Meisenheimer of Stuart, Bille Pettit of Corpus Christi, Tex., Mrs. Joan Lemon and Donald Pettit of Winterset, Dickie Pettit of Prescott, Jerry Pettit of Macksburg and Janice Pettit of Waukee. He also leaves two brothers, Ray Pettit of Hebron and Lonnie Pettit of Greenfield; three sisters, Mrs. Delilah Simmons of Hebron, Mrs. Emma Dory of Creston and Mrs. Bertha Giles of Greenfield; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday from the Hebron Methodist church, with burial in the Hebron cemetery.
