MILO M. MOORE DIES IN FLORIDA

Body Returned to Winterset For Funeral Services And Burial

Milo M. Moore, a former resident of Winterset, died last Thursday, Jan. 25, at Venice, Fla. He was 80 years of age.

Mr. Moore had been making his home at Osprey, Fla., for the last two years. He was born in Madison county Aug. 29, 1881, a son of Huston and Dorothy Cowden Moore. About 60 years of his life were spent in this community. He worked for many years with the county road maintenance department.

He moved from Winterset to Des Moines about 20 years ago, then to Chicago before going to Florida.

He was married here Jan. 14, 1914 to Velma White, who survives him. He also leaves a son, Kermit Moore of Osprey. One son, Roslyn Moore, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held this Tuesday from the Collins Funeral home in charge of the Rev. A. P. Keast of Des Moines. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
