DONALD B. HARDIN

Donald Bryan Hardin, son of Ryan S. and Emma Hardin, was born in Cambridge, Nebraska on January 9, 1896 and died July 12, 1968.

In his youth the family moved to Paul, Idaho, where they engaged in farming, livestock raising and breeding Percheron horses. He received his education at the University of Idaho. On November 12, 1927, he was married to Pauline Brown of Earlham. To this union were born three children: Donald Howard, Richard and Carol.

They continued living in Idaho until 1947 when they moved to Earlham to make their home on the parental Brown farm.

Don was a member of the Masonic Lodge and of the Presbyterian church of which he was an elder and an active member until ill health prevented.

He entered the Horton nursing home in March and died there on July 12.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Pauline; sons, Howard of El Paso, Texas, Richard of Bloomfield, New Mexico and daughter, Mrs. Ted Harris of Earlham; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Dan Brown, Mrs. Claude Bucknum and Mrs. Ralph Parris, all of Boise, Idaho, as well as many friends. He was a man of great integrity, loyalty to his friends and concern for all mankind.
