MRS. R. FARLOW DIES AT AGE 50

Brief Illness Proves Fatal To Well Known Woman, Funeral Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Ralph Farlow, age 50, who died Wednesday afternoon of last week, were held Saturday afternoon, Feb. 3, at two o'clock in the Anderson Funeral home. The Rev. Tom Foglesong, pastor of the Church of Christ, conducted the service and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Mrs. Farlow died at her home east of Winterset following a stroke suffered two weeks ago from which she failed to rally. She was the former Edith Deborah Burke and was born at Wiota, Ia., Sept. 13, 1889. She was united in marriage to Ralph Farlow, March 16, 1909 in Laurel, Montana, and to this union were born seven children, three dying in infancy. Mrs. Farlow joined the Methodist church in Wiota in her girlhood days. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors Order.

Those surviving are four sons, Beryl, Ralph, jr., Jack and Billy; her husband; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Richardson of Laurel, Montana; Mrs. John Kessler of Creston; Mrs. S. M. Hamilton of Winterset; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Edward Kessler, Ernest Kessler, Harry Kessler, Joe Mulfod, Archie Richardson and George Farlow.
