Wednesday, March 10, 1943(Bevington Special)- March 8 -MRS. MARY HANRAHAN Dies
Mrs. Mary Hanrahan died at the Mercy Hospital in Des Moines on March 4, 1943. Funeral services were held at St. John's church in Des Moines, and burial was made in St. Patrick's cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, James, Mark and Thomas, and daughters, Mrs. Tom Egan, Mrs. Henry Powers, and Mrs. Tony King, and twelve grandchildren.
Mrs. Hanrahan was one of the older residents of Madison and Warren counties, having spent her life there, until recently when she had lived with her daughter, Mrs. Tony King in Des Moines.
She was the former Mary McNerney and was the wife of James Hanrahan, Sr.
Many friends and relatives paid their respects to Mrs. Hanrahan at the home of her son James Hanrahan in Des Moines, and attended the services at St. John's in Des Moines.
