Ronald Jones, 90, of Winterset died of a heart ailment Thursday at Madison County Memorial Hospital there. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Congregational Christian United Church of Christ in Truro, of which he was a member. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Earlham Cemetery in Earlham.

Mr. Jones was born in Salina, Kan., and had lived in Truro most of his life. He was a farmer and a truck driver.

Surviving are his wife, Gladys; three sons, John of Apache, Okla., Lester of Des Moines and George of Sumner; a brother, Harold of Des Moines; a sister, Wilma Thackett of Youngstown, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Kale Funeral Home in Truro, where the family will be present from 3 to 5 p.m.
