William Henderson "Bill" Simmerman, son of Felix and Olive Kirk Simmerman, was born near Murray, Clarke County Iowa July 6, 1912 and died at the Clarke County Hospital August 1st at the age of 65 years.
He was married to Mary Bernadine Stickle at Princeton, Missouri June 27, 1934. They spent their married life on a farm near Murray moving to Osceola in 1961 where they operated a restaurant.
He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters, eleven grandchildren, four brothers, one brother Nelson living at Peru and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Thursday morning August 4th. Fathers Joseph McDonnell and Lawrence Burns conducted the 10 a.m. service from St. Bernard Catholic Church in Osceola. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery, Osceola.
