CHARLES SHUEY DIED AT VETERAN'S HOSPITAL

Charles Shuey of Des Moines died Thursday at the Veterans hospital in Des Moines after several months of failing health. He was 75 years of age.

Mr. Shuey was born in Winterset, the son of David and Emma Snyder Shuey, and spent his early life here until he moved to Des Moines with his parents. He was employed by the Rock Island Railroad until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, two sons, thirteen grandchildren and a brother, John Shuey of West Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning from St. Augustin church in Des Moines with burial in Glendale cemetery.
