OBITUARY
Ruth Ann Routh came to bless the home of Mr. and Mrs. Amor Routh of Earlham, on May 6, 1948. During the morning hours of January 23, 1953, her Heavenly Father gathered her into His group of angels in Heaven.
Although her life on this earth was short, she brought much joy and sorrow to her family. Her sparkling brown eyes and infectious smile, will always be a bright spot in the memory of those who loved her.
Ruth Ann was a severely handicapped cerebral palsy child. Until the last seven months, she has had many treatments and several months of therapy to try to help her become a more normal child. Thanks to the kind hearts of the community and friends, she was taken to a crebral palsy clinic in Kansas City in March, 1952. After three months of concentrated therapy and observation, Dr. Bruner, head of the clinic advised custodial care for her.
On June 23, Ruth Ann became a patient at the Woodward State Hospital. It was here that God took her hand and lead her to the land where her future will be as those around her.
Those who are left behind to miss Ruth Ann, and yet to know God's way is wisest, are her parents, Amor and Velma, an eight year old brother, Ronald Ray, six weeks old sister, Romona Jane, grandma Routh of Des Moines, grandpa and grandma Junkin of California, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
