O. B. Mack, a former resident of St. Charles, died April 13 at the Ringgold county hospital in Mt. Ayr. He was 80 years of age.
Mr. Mack had been serving the past 6 years as mayor of Mt. Ayr. He is survived by his wife, and a son. B. B. Mack, of Washington, D. C.
Funeral services were held at Mt. Ayr, and burial was made at St. Charles.

MOUNT AYR — O. B. Mack, 80, mayor of Mount Ayr, died around 7 p. m. Sunday at the Ringgold county hospital here following an illness of five weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Christian church here with burial at St. Charles.
Mayor of Mount Ayr the past six years, he had started his fourth term April 1. He was a member of the Masonic lodge here.
Surviving are his wife and one son, B. B. Mack of Washington, D. C.
