MRS. MARY FUDGE DIED LAST FRIDAY

Life-Long Resident of This Community Was 85 Years of Age

Mrs. Mary Fudge, a well-known Winterset resident for many years, died at the Memorial hospital Friday, April 18th, after an extended illness. She was 85 years of age.

Mrs. Fudge was a daughter of John and Margaret Hillin Baker, and was born in Winterset April 5, 1867. She was the widow of John Fudge, whose death occurred many years ago.

All of her life was spent in Madison county. She was a member of the Winterset Church of Christ.

Nearest surviving relative is a brother, Harry Baker of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Richards Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Sherman Hanson of the Winterset Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
