John McBride, an old resident of this county, who resided for many years in the house on Theodore Cox estate, just east of Winterset, died Monday last, and was buried in the Winterset cemetery Wednesday. Mr. McBride was quite an old man, unmarried, and had and an unmarried sister, who is still living, made their home together. The old people are highly spoken of by their immediate neighbors and friends. Outside of these they were not extensively known.
