SMITH LAMB OF WINTERSET DIES

Death Occurs at Memorial Hospital After Long Illness

Smith Lamb, a resident of Madison county for most of his life, died early Wednesday, March 5 at the Memorial hospital in Winterset. He had been in failing helath since last autumn.

Mr. Lamb was 67 years of age. He was a native of Virginia, but came to Iowa with his parents when he was 4 years of age. Most of his life had been spent in or near Winterset.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. P. J. Music and Mrs. James Orlando, both of Des Moines; and two sisters, Mrs. Lem Pearson and Mrs. Elmer Banks, both of Winterset.

Funeral services will be held this Friday at 10 a.m. from the Richards Funeral home in Winterset.

(Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery)
