CLYDE E. STEWART OF WINTERSET DIES

Funeral Services on Tuesday From Anderson Home For Funerals

Clyde E. Stewart, a resident of this community all his life, died Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Memorial hospital. He was 78 years of age.

Mr. Stewart was born near Patterson, May 2, 1873, a son of John M. and Nancy E. Stewart. As a child he moved with his parents to Winterset, and the remainder of his life was spent in or near here.

He was a long-time member of the United Presbyterian church in Winterset.

Surviving are his brother, Frank S. Stewart of Leon; and a sister, Nellie E. Stewart of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Anderson Home for Funerals, in charge of the Rev. S. C. Pickens, pastor of the Winterset United Presbyterian church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
