Ruth Schnoor, Des Moines

Funeral services for Ruth Carmon Schnoor, 87, were held Sat., Dec. 26 at Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines. She died of a heart ailment December 22, 1992, at Hillside Convalescent Center in Des Moines. Burial was at Sayer (Sayre) Cemetery in St. Charles.

Mrs. Schnoor was born in Douglas County, Mo. and lived near St. Charles from 1946 through 1988. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Schnoor; six daughters, Elnora Schnoor and LaVern Zimmerman, both of Des Moines, M. June Fox of Van Wert, Erma Wessinger of Prosperity, S. C., Anna Palmer of Stone Mountain, Ga.; and Darlene Michael of Glendale, Ariz.; four sons, Paul of West Des Moines, Milo of Truro, Emery of Pine River, Minn., and Harold of Rockford, Ill.; four sisters, Lorena Spencer of Freeport, Ill., Frances Martin of McDowell, Mo., Mabel Honey of Folson, N. M., and Josephine Williamson of Trinidad, Colo.; 43 grandchildren; and 59 great-grandchildren.
